The Varsity Baseball team traveled to Millbrook on April 16th for a MHAL Division 4 game. The Hawks found themselves in a hole early but battled back multiple times and nearly completing a comeback before falling 11-6.
Key hits from Oscar Clark and Sawyer Giles allowed Rhinebeck to tie the game in the fourth inning. The Hawks continued to fight in the fifth, closing a 7–3 deficit to just one run after Clark delivered another RBI double and Giles launched a two-run home run to left.
Giles led the way offensively for Rhinebeck, driving in three runs and going 2-for-3, while Clark also added two hits as the pair anchored the lineup.
The Hawks now look ahead to their next opportunity on the road at Ellenville on Monday.
