Varsity Baseball Rallies For Win

The Varsity Baseball team edged out Millbrook 7–6 in a back-and-forth game on Thursday, April 23rd. Rhinebeck got an early boost in the second inning with key RBIs from Hunter North and Chase Hoehn, then regained the lead in the third thanks to Sawyer Giles.

After Millbrook pulled ahead 6–4 in the fifth, Rhinebeck responded late, tying the game in the sixth on contributions from Dean Pendergast and Damian Haag before ultimately securing the win. Pitching and relief efforts were crucial, with Oscar Clark earning the win and Giles delivering scoreless innings secure the victory.

Offensively, Rhinebeck stood out with nine hits, strong plate discipline (six walks), and aggressive baserunning. Multiple players, including James Jacox, John Haight, and Pendergast, contributed multi-hit performances.

The Hawks return to action on Monday, April 27th when they host Dover in a non-league game.
