In a hard-fought battle, the Rhinebeck Hawks battled Lourdes to a 6-6 tie on Wednesday, May 6th. Both teams showed determination from start to finish in a game highlighted by strong defensive efforts and key offensive plays.
Defensively, the Hawks were led by Addy Gendron, who came up with several impressive diving flag pulls to stop Lourdes drives. Lexi Torres and Maura Cuyler also contributed with key defensive flag pulls that helped keep the game even throughout the contest.
On the offensive side, the Hawks found the end zone on a touchdown connection from Gwen Dampf to Lexi Torres for Rhinebeck’s only score of the game.
The Hawks will look to build on the effort as they travel to Highland on Friday, May 8th.
