The JV Girls Basketball team defeated Highland 49-20 on Thursday, February 5th. Addison Gendron and Maddie Palmatier were a force on defense, causing multiple turnovers for the Huskie’s offense. Siena Davis was dominant on offense at high post scoring 12 points. In addition to great defense, Addison Gendron also contributed on offense scoring 12 points.
The JV Girls Basketball team traveled to Taconic Hills on Wednesday, February 4th and came home with a 44-15 victory. The Hawks defense held the Titans scoreless in the first quarter and remained relentless for the remainder of the game. Rhinebeck was led by Maddie Palmatier (16 points) and Siena Davis (6 points).
The Varsity Girls Basketball team traveled to Highland on Thursday, February 5th and lost a hard-fought game 51-28. Ella Donnelly led the Hawks with 7 points . Paige Boehm chipped in with 4 points and had a great defensive game.
The Varsity Girls Basketball team lost to New Paltz 53-33 on Monday, February 2nd. Lexi Torres led the Hawks with 8 points. Rhinebeck travels to Taconic Hills on Wednesday for a 6:30 PM non-league contest.
The JV Girls Basketball team hosted the Hudson Bluehawks on Thursday, January 29th. Rhinebeck defense was strong throughout the game helping to guide the Hawks to the 31-2 victory. Rhinebeck’s offense was led by Siena Davis (14 points), Maddie Palmatier (4 points), and Addison Gendron (4 points).
The JV Girls Basketball team traveled to Millbrook on Friday, January 23rd and came home with the victory 32-22. Throughout the game Siena Davis led the offense from the high post scoring 10 points. Aubrey contributed 8 points for the Hawks in the win over the Blazers.
The JV Girls Basketball team defeated Rondout Valley 24-20 on Thursday, January 15th. The Hawks offense successfully moved the ball throughout the game seeing 7 out of 8 players score. Aubrey Haag led the way with 10 points while Maddie Palmatier added 4.

Millbrook took an early lead, going up 13–8 at the end of the first quarter, and extended the advantage to 23–15 by halftime. The Varsity Girls Basketball team defeated Dover 36-27 on Wednesday, January 21st. The Hawks jumped out to an early lead, taking an 11–4 advantage by the end of the first quarter. The Rhinebeck Central School District’s Interscholastic Athletic program has been designed to enhance the educational experience of our students. Sports involvement provides student athletes with the opportunity to develop physically, mentally, and emotionally. The personal characteristics of physical fitness, athletic skill, leadership, discipline, self esteem, loyalty, cooperation, motivation, sense of fair play and the development of long term friendships are promoted by participation in athletics. The objective of the Rhinebeck Interscholastic Athletic program is to complement the objectives and policies of the school in the development of well-rounded individuals who are capable of taking their place in today’s society.
