The JV Girls Basketball team put together a strong showing at the Pine Plains Bomber Booster Holiday Classic, highlighted by a dominant defensive win in the opening round and a hard-fought championship game.
In the opening round against Spackenkill, the Hawks relied on an impressive defensive performance, holding Spartans to just 19 points. Kyla Gentile had multiple defensive takeaways to disrupt Spackenkill’s offense while helping to fuel Rhinebeck’s momentum.
The offense was led by Siena Davis (8 points) and Aubrey Haag (7 points).
In the championship game, Rhinebeck faced a tough Red Hook squad. Despite suffering their first loss of the season, the Hawks played hard from start to finish and never backed down, displaying strong effort and resilience.
Siena Davis led all Rhinebeck scorers with 9 points while Addison Gendron added 4 points.
Capping off a strong tournament performance, Siena Davis was named to the All-Tournament Team, recognizing her consistent play during the Tournament.
