The Varsity Girls Basketball Team picked up their second win of the season on Friday, January 9th, defeating Millbrook 42–21.

Rhinebeck jumped out to an early lead, holding a slim 8–6 advantage at the end of the first quarter before extending it to 23–13 by halftime. Defense continued to be the difference after the break, as the Hawks limited the Blazers to just one point in the third quarter while scoring five of their own, taking a 28–14 lead into the final frame. Rhinebeck continued to apply pressure defensively in the fourth quarter to secure the win.

Offensively, the Hawks were led by Lexi Torres with 9 points, followed by Paige Boehm with 8 points and Charlotte Lagenau with 7 points. Ella Romeo delivered an outstanding defensive effort, anchoring a relentless unit that made scoring difficult all night for Millbrook.

The Hawks return to action on Monday on the road at Hudson in a 6:30 PM game.
