On Thursday, June 4, 2026, Rhinebeck High School proudly celebrated the accomplishments of its student-athletes during the annual Varsity Sports Recognition Night. Eleanor Firestone and Sawyer Giles were recognized for their athletic and academic success on Thursday, May 28th by the Mid-Hudson Athletic League. The Unified Basketball team traveled to Pine Plains on Thursday, May 7th and returned with a win in another close game. Great defense was provided by Frankie and Mason, while Malcolm, Nina and Dudley were tenacious on rebounds. Game 1 v Wallkill: Unified basketball opened with a close game away against Wallkill, ending with a win for the Hawks. Rhinebeck played a close game with John Jay on Tuesday, with excellent play on both sides. Strong play by Malcolm, Angela, Dudley, David, Abby, Arabella, Nina, Jada and Mason led to scoring and rebounds. Vivian, Ellie, Claire, Connor, Ali and Nate added rebounds and assists.
Rhinebeck recovered from Tuesday’s loss with a strong game against Kingston on Thursday. Malcolm, Angela, David, Abby, Arabella, Jada, Nina and Mason scored and provided strong defense for Rhinebeck. Ellie, Claire, Henry, Jason, Wolf, Connor, Kate and Nate provided assists and rebounds.
